The British Labour Party has found itself entangled in yet another racism crisis after a new report found huge levels of Islamophobia within the Party.

The report, commissioned by the newly formed ‘Labour Muslim Network’, suggests that current party leader, Sir Keir Starmer, has greatly lost the trust of his parties Muslim members.

The report, which interviewed hundreds of Muslim members, added that some key policy issues create "hurt" among Muslims. Including its stance on Israeli crimes in Palestine and Starmer’s U-turn on Labour’s Kashmir policy earlier this year.

Before Starmer took over the anti-Semitism crisis rocked the party for years. The media took it very seriously and some argue it’s what brought down the previous leadership. But the question is, will the response be the same over this blatant crisis of Islamophobia in Labour? Many suspect not.
