UEFA Champions League: Bayern Munich 4-0 Atletico Madrid
Defending champions Bayern Munich have begun their title defense by routing Atletico Madrid 4-nil in their opening match at the Allianz Arena.
Just 28 minutes into the match, Kingsley Coman of Bayern met a perfect cross from Joshua Kimmich deep inside the box, and sent the ball accurately to the bottom right corner.
Kingsley Coman then played it to Leon Goretzka whose deflected shot went past a helpless Jan Oblak four minutes before the break.
Bayern's third came when Corentin Tolisso fired a rebound just outside the penalty area into the top right corner in the 66th minute.
Six minutes later, Kingsley Coman completed his brace as he scored the fourth for the home side after playing a deft finish to his solo effort.
