On July 8, 2014, Israel waged an all-out war against the besieged Gaza Strip.

During the course of that war, over 2,200 Gazans, including hundreds of women and children, lost their lives.

More than 11,000 were wounded.

Israeli warplanes also bombarded apartment buildings.

The 50-day war also displaced about half a million Palestinians in the blockaded enclave.

Experts say the Israeli strikes on civilians were systematic and deliberate, and fall under Israel’s strategy of using disproportionate force.

For decades the Israeli regime has demonstrated zero accountability to crimes perpetrated by its soldiers due to the protection it enjoys from the United States.

Since 2008, the Israeli regime has waged three wars on Gaza, killing thousands of Palestinians and causing wanton destruction.

Rights groups say the International Criminal Court must take concrete steps in order to end Israel’s impunity and bring its warlords to justice.
