Just a day after one of the biggest demonstrations Vienna has seen in recent years, people are back in the street expressing their anger directly at the American administration.

Protestors gathered outside the American embassy with the message that the world is watching the US and that people are standing in solidarity with all those who were outraged by the video of George Floyd pleading for his life as an American police officer knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes.

Protestors demanded accountability for all cases of police brutality and injustice against black citizens.

On Thursday, an estimated 50 thousand people demonstrated in Vienna against racism, thousands more turned up the next day, a reason why the Austrian President took to twitter with the words, “Let us listen”.
