The US and China are engaged in a new fight to shape a narrative about the origins of the worsening coronavirus pandemic.

The US president and his team have consistently tried to blame China for the whole thing. Phrases like Chinese virus and "Wuhan virus" have regularly been used by Trump and his top allies.
