Don DeBar: US is run like a casino, house always wins

American journalist and political commentator Don DeBar says the United States is run like a casino. “No matter what happens in a casino, it usually operates to the benefit of the owner/operator.”

DeBar made the remarks in an online interview with Press TV on Tuesday while commenting on reports which suggest that coronavirus is a part of US biological warfare against China.

Law Professor Francis Boyle, who had drafted the US Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, has said that coronavirus is a US biowarfare weapon, genetically modified for this purpose.

China’s Wuhan BSL-4 lab is a WHO-designated research lab, Boyle explaining that the organization is fully aware of what’s happening and how.

In addition, Indian Institute of Technology scientists “discovered that the Wuhan coronavirus has been engineered with AIDS like insertions” — meaning it’s not a naturally occurring phenomenon if true, adding:

It’s “quite unlikely for a virus to have acquired such unique insertions naturally in a short duration of time.”

‘They don't have to rig the games’

Commenting to Press TV, Debar said, “I must say I still don't know. It is obviously possible. Certainly, it isn't a sense of morality that precludes the US government or some global corporate entity from doing so. But there is a lot of room between ‘quite unlikely for a virus to have acquired such unique insertions naturally in a short duration of time’ to proof that this particular virus was developed and/or deployed by anyone in particular. There may be a limited set of suspects but, absent actual proof, it is just that - a limited set of suspects.”

“It's like a casino. No matter what happens in a casino, it usually operates to the benefit of the owner/operator. They don't have to rig the games - the outcomes of games are predicable, and you build the possible scenarios around those so that the total set of outcomes is predictable and operating to the benefit of the house. Same here - the West benefits from this kind of disaster by virtue of its position as imperial power, and these things not only happen because a weapon was ‘detonated’ but as a matter of course,” he said.

“So one cannot deduce an invisible hand directing every event simply because it operates to the benefit of the imperialists. It does happen - and often, to be sure - but not always. We need evidence, not mere precedent malfeasance,” he stated.
