Chelsea have stumbled to a 2-0 shock defeat at the hands of Southampton in the English Premier League.

Despite playing at Stamford Bridge, Frank Lampard’s men conceded a goal after the half-hour mark, when Michael Obafemi sprinted away from Chelsea defenders, before unleashing a left-footed curler into the top left corner.

Southampton came up with another goal, deep into the second half, as a sublime team-effort provided Nathan Redmond with a one-on-one situation, and the England international sealed the victory, after clipping the ball over the keeper.

With the loss, Chelsea remain 4th on 32 points, while the Saints, climbed up to 14th on 21.
