Lazio enter title race after thrilling 2-1 win over Cagliari
Lazio have come from a goal down to claim a deserved 2-1 win over Cagliari in stoppage time.
Cagliari needed no more than 8 minutes to make the breakthrough as Joao Pedro flicked a throw-in for Giovanni Simeone, whose volley rippled the roof of the net.
Lazio came out firing in the 2nd half and got what they deserved in the added time. Luis Alberto pulled Lazio level in the 2nd minute of stoppage time with a powerful shot from inside the area and Felipe Kai-sedo completed the comeback with a fine header following a perfect cross by Jony Rodriguez.
Lazio are now 3rd in the table on 36 points, just 3 behind Inter Milan and Juventus. Cagliari remained 5th on 29 points.
