Joao Felix wins Golden Boy Award

Atletico Madrid and Portugal forward, Joao Felix, has won the 2019 Golden Boy Award for the best Under-21 player in Europe.

The 20-year old, became the youngest player to score a Europa League hat-trick last season, and helped his former club Benfica win the Portuguese league title with 15 goals and 7 assists, before joining Atletico Madrid in the summer, for 126 Million Euros. Felix, outvoted Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, to pick-up the award, which was won by the likes of Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero and Paul Pogba.
