Morocco Rally: Sainz wins Stage 4

Looking over updates from the Morocco Desert Challenge, Carlos Sainz of Spain has clinched stage 4 while South African Giniel de Villiers Knocked Nasser Al-Attiyah off the top of the overall lead.

Sainz finished the stage in 3 hours and 33 minutes, ahead of Jakub Przygonski and 8 minutes behind Giniel de Villiers. Meanwhile, Toyota driver de Villiers took the overall lead after the 2019 Dakar champion Al-Attiyah and Dakar Rally Legend Stephane Peterhansel were forced to stop during the stage due to technical problems.

In addition, former formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso enjoyed his best stage finish with a run to 17th. The Spaniard stayed in 9th, heading into the final day of his maiden cross-country rally.
