The beginning of the school year in Russia traditionally coincides with an event for book fans: Moscow International Book Fair has opened its doors to thousands of visitors for the 32nd time.
Publishers from 33 countries have offered more than 100,000 books of all genres and directions. Visitors will get acquainted with works of writers not only from Russia, but also from China, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Belarus, Greece, Serbia, Poland and other countries.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has been an active participant in this exhibition for more than a decade. The country presents its major publishers in prose and poetry and its stand is invariably popular among visitors.
The Moscow International Book Fair is the most anticipated event to those who still prefer the smell of freshly printed paper and likes to read from books. The event has been held since 1977 and is the largest book forum in Russia.
