Iran marks anniv. of Iraq' chemical attack on Sardasht

The chemical attack on Iranian city of Sardasht killed over 1,000 civilians and injured another 8,000 people in 1987.

Iran has marked the 32nd anniversary of Saddam Hussein’s bombing of Sardasht in West Azarbaijan province of Iran in 1987. The chemical attack killed over 100 civilians and injured thousands of others, leaving some of them permanently disabled.
