Trump's actions 'dishonest, unethical, immoral, unpatriotic'

A report by US Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been released to the public prompting condemnation of the president for his "unquestionably dishonest, unethical, immoral and unpatriotic" conduct.

The redacted edition of the much-anticipated 400-page investigation, covering Russia's meddling in the 2016 presidential election, as well as Donald Trump and his teams wrongdoings and possible presidential obstruction of justice, was released in Mueller's report on Thursday.

It took two years work for Mueller and his team of investigators to determine that that the president was neither guilty nor Innocent of the charges, leaving the future the Trump administration in the American people's hands. “This report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,” according to the Mueller report.

Mueller said the evidence on the matter was "insufficient" and the onus was upon the people’s representatives to decide the fate of the Trump administration. “Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit form a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome ... evidence … was not sufficient to charge” anyone. However, we “identified numerous links between individuals with ties to the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump campaign," it said.

In an act of characteristic of Trump's defiant conduct, he tweeted that the Mueller report proved there had been no collusion between his crew and the Russians. The US Attorney General played along with Trump, confirming on Thursday that there had been no collusion or other wrongdoing by Trump and his administration.

US Attorney General William Barr says there was "no collusion" between President Donald Trump’s election campaign and Russia in the US election.

Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep Adam Schiff ( D-Calififornia), offered an opposite argument, condemning Trump for the damaging report. “Whether these acts are criminal or not, whether the obstruction of justice was criminal, or not; or whether, these contacts were sufficiently illicit, or not, to rise to the level of criminal conspiracy – they are unquestionably dishonest, unethical, Immoral and unpatriotic and should be condemned by every American,” Schiff said.

 Schiff called the Mueller report a damaging "condemnation" of Trump and his presidency, noting that the public release of the report had dealt a heavy blow to the president.

“That is the subject of condemnation. And that is how we should view the Mueller report,” he insisted.
