Looking at Motorsports and the Dakar Rally, Toyota’s Nasser Al-Attiyah has extended his overall lead after winning stage 4.
The Qatari driver, who battled Stephane Peterhansel of France for most of the day, was quickest over the 406-kilometre timed special, crossing the finish line with a time of 3 hours, 38 minutes and 49 seconds.
Peterhansel was 1 minute and 52 seconds behind, while Jakub Przygonski of Poland finished 3rd, and climbed into 4th in the overall standings. The 517 kilometer stage 5, will be held today.
