Iran wins gold medal in 2018 Asian games volleyball
In the 2018 Asian games, Iran have won the volleyball gold medal, after beating South Korea in straight sets in the final, in Jakarta.
The Iranian side dominated the match from the very start and won 25-17, 25-22, 25-21, to successfully defend their title. Iran won the 2018 Asian games without losing a single set, as they also beat Mongolia, Pakistan, China and Qatar in straight sets. In the 3rd-place playoff, Chinese Taipei defeated Qatar 3-1.
