Thousands have been affected by floods that have submerged many areas and caused severe water logging.

52 people have been injured since heavy rains, lightning and flooding began on Thursday (July 26), while a building collapsed in Ghaziabad city.

Seasonal monsoon rains, a lifeline for farmers across India, cause deaths and damage to property every year between July and September.
