Iranians proud of squad despite World Cup exit
Iran fans were full of pride as they left Saransk's Mordovia Arena on Monday having watched their team earn a 1-1 draw with European champions Portugal.
The result meant Carlos Queiroz's team finished the group with four points and despite it not being enough to qualify their supporters partied in the streets outside the stadium.
Supporters in Moscow's fan zone were also delighted that Iran managed to hold Portugal to a draw.
Portugal will next play Uruguay in the Round of 16 on June 30.
