Video: Yarmouk after defeat of Daesh by Syrian army

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has reportedly concluded its seven-year long war with Daesh, defeating the last pocket of militants in Yarmouk, first footage from of the retaken city showed on Tuesday.

Footage showed SAA soldiers marching through the rubble, clearing the city from last remains of Daesh militants and chanting in victory.

The area around the Yarmouk camp has been under Daesh control since the outbreak of the Syria crisis in 2011.
