Kashmir political parties call for Ramadan truce

Muslims in Indian-controlled Kashmir are preparing for the fasting month of Ramadan amid heightened tensions. The disputed region’s political parties have asked New Delhi to declare a unilateral ceasefire to end clashes between its troops and pro-independence fighters.
