Displaced Iraqis make preparations for Ramadan

Iraq still has over two million people who remain displaced by the country's war against Daesh.

Many of them are children who have to spend another Ramadan inside a camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in northern Iraq's Kurdish region.

For some, it is the fourth Ramadan inside an IDP camp since Daesh took over their town four years ago. A substantial number of their homes have been destroyed or their areas are still unsafe to return to because fighting continues.

And with Ramadan around the corner, people struggle on yet another year to buy food for Iftar.
