Iran discovers group fate at Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship

The 16th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship will be held in Salalah, Oman, between July 15 and 25, 2018.

The Iran men's national under-21 handball team has been drawn in Group D of the 16th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship, which will kick off in July in Oman.

During the draw ceremony in the Omani capital city of Muscat on Friday, the Iranian outfit joined squads from India, Oman and Yemen in the preliminary round of the continental sports event.

China, Japan, Lebanon and South Korea form Group A in the forthcoming tournament.

Group B consists of Iraq, Palestine, Qatar and Syria.

Bahrain, Chinese Taipei, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan are drawn in Group C.

The 16th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship will start in Oman's southern coastal city of Salalah on July 15, and will finish on July 25, 2018.
