Iran’s nuclear achievements clear message to US: Analyst

An analyst believes the projects unveiled by Iran on the occasion of Nuclear Day are “incredibly significant” because they send a message to the United States that if it decides to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Islamic Republic will immediately put a Plan B into action.

“The United States, Saudi Arabia and Israel are the ones who are pushing for the JCPOA to be looked at again and it was absolutely essential for Iran to show them that they do have a Plan B and that Plan B can be put into action within a matter of a week. This is going to make them think twice if they are planning to put sanctions on Iran and if they are planning to violate the JAPOA because as far as Iran goes they (Iranians) have maintained the spirit of the JCPOA, they have not violated anything in the JCPOA, actually it is the other way around,” Riaz Karim, director of UK-based Veritas Centre For Strategic Studies, told Press TV in an interview on Monday.
