Police brutality in the United States

The shooting dead of an unarmed black man with mental health issues in a Brooklyn neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon by New York police has brought to the spotlight the issue of U.S. police brutality and racial profiling.

In this edition of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with Gale Frazier, chairman of the National Black Agenda Consortium, from Chicago, and the founder of the American Institute for Foreign Policy, Michael Lane, from Washington, to discuss the aftermath of the shooting dead of Saheed Vassell, an unarmed black man with mental health issues in a Brooklyn neighborhood by New York police.
