Israel turning to Saudi fatwas to discourage Palestinian protests

Avichay Adraee, an Israeli army spokesman, has cited a decree by Saudi cleric Sheikh Saleh al-Fawzan to argue against participating in public protests. The cleric is known for his controversial fatwas.
