Palestinians mark Land Day with protests

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip gathered along the so-called buffer zone with Israel to mark the annual the event. Israel deployed snipers deployed along the Gaza border to target the protesters. Palestinian Land Day is marked every year to remember the 1976 Israeli killings of six Palestinians whose land had been expropriated for settlement construction.
