US seeks to provoke North Korea by sending F-22 jets to South: Commentator

A political commentator believes the United States’ plan to send six F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jets to South Korea is a “calculated move” in order to provoke North Korea.

“Everybody knows where the red line is. The red line is the invasion of the DPRK (the Democratic People's Republic of Korea) or some kind of surgical strike against the leadership. What we are seeing here is sort of a game where the US is trying to get as close to the red line as possible without actually crossing it, perhaps trying to get the DPRK to respond in some manner and then turn around and go to the media, to the international community and then call the DPRK an aggressive rogue state for having responded to US acts of aggression,” Jason Unruhe told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.
