It’s been described as a political earthquake in Saudi Arabia. An anti-corruption committee, headed by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has arrested dozens of princes and ministers over alleged corruption charges. But the arrests have been interpreted as an attempt by Prince Salman to tighten his grip on power and pave the way for his ultimate ascent to the throne.
