Iran's earthquake: deadliest in 2017

The 7.3 magnitude earthquake that rattled western Iran on Sunday is the deadliest in the world in 2017 with well over 400 fatalities. The epicenter of the quake was located along a 1500 kilometer fault line on the border between Iran and Iraq where the Arabian and Eurasian tectonic plates collide.
