Three US carriers hold drills off Korean Peninsula

Three US nuclear powered aircraft carrier strike groups are conducting joint military exercises with the South Korean navy in waters near the Korean Peninsula. The exercises come as US President Donald Trump wraps up a two-week visit to the region, in which he extolled American military might and encouraged allies to buy more US weapons.
