Thousands of nationalists marched through Warsaw on Saturday, waving flags and banners as they marked Poland's Independence Day.

Starting near Dmowski Roundabout, the group filed across Poniatowski Bridge as darkness fell, red flares lighting their procession.

Across the city, a smaller counter-protest was held by anti-fascist groups who marched with banners reading "Together against Racism."
