Flyers found in South Korea depicting Trump as ‘mad dog’ and ‘old lunatic’
A large number of anti-Trump propaganda leaflets graphically depicting the US president as a “mad dog” and an “old lunatic” have reportedly been blown from North Korea to the South.
On the colorful flyers, which were found strewn across the South Korean capital, US President Donald Trump can be seen pictured as a dog with human features standing behind a podium with “UN 2017” written on it holding a bomb in his mouth, which is inscribed with the words, “Totally destroy North Korea.”
“Will kill 25,000,000 people in North Korea,” the ‘mad dog’ says, while two men in suits -- similar to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Moon Jae-in -- say, “He’s gone completely insane” and “If we let him be, there will be war.”
“Death to old lunatic Trump!" reads another flyer that shows an angry North Korean soldier, crushing on Trump’s head.
Another flyer, in which a dog can be seen being beheaded with an axe, calls to “behead mad dog Trump for the future of a peaceful and warless world and mankind.”
The leaflets seem to have been carried by balloons into the South; as they are sometimes used by both Seoul and Pyongyang to dispense propaganda.
“I am pretty sure it came from North Korea by balloon, since the prevailing winds during October have been from north to south and we’ve been getting reports of others finding them throughout Seoul,” said the managing director of a Seoul-based news service NK News, Chad O’Carroll.

Tensions on the Korean peninsula have risen sharply in recent weeks following a series of weapons tests by Pyongyang, including its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on September 3 and two missiles launched over Japan.
The international community has pressed Pyongyang to abandon its missiles and nuclear weapons development programs.
Pyongyang, however, insists its weapons are of a defensive nature, acting as a deterrent against potential foreign aggression.
