'Russia airstrikes killed 2,350 terrorists in Syria in September'

Russia says its airstrikes on terrorist positions in Syria have killed more than 2,300 terrorists and wounded nearly 2,700 others between September 19 and 29.

Russian Defense Ministry said the terrorists were members of Daesh and al-Nusra. The ministry also said the Syrian army, under Russian air cover, is completing the encirclement and destruction of nearly 1,500 Daesh militants in Dayr al-Zawr province. The terrorists had infiltrated from Iraq.
