Lebanese Takfiri preacher sentenced to death

Lebanon's Military Tribunal has sentenced an extremist cleric to death for his role in fueling sectarian violence in the country. Ahmad al-Assir was also found guilty of organizing attacks against the Lebanese army back in 2013 which led to the killing of 18 soldiers.
