Palestinians welcome UNESCO al-Aqsa resolution

Palestinian officials have welcomed a resolution by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization that nullifies Jewish ties to the al-Aqsa mosque compound. Tel Aviv has suspended cooperation with UNESCO, saying the organization has lost its legitimacy by adopting the resolution.
