Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi has hailed the gains by the Iraqi forces in the first two phases of the battle aimed at liberating the restive city of Fallujah from Daesh terrorists. The Iraqi prime minister, however, urged the army to make extraordinary efforts to safeguard civilians.

This, as soldiers on the ground tell Press TV that the main obstacle slowing their advance is the civilian population.
