Shia activists in Pakistan go on hunger strike to protest targeted killings

Targeted killings of Shia Muslims have been on a consistent rise across Pakistan. The killings by Takfiri groups have sparked massive demonstrations. Protesters accused the government of ignoring their demands for justice for the victims and rooting out extremism. Shia activists have gone on hunger strike movement across the country.
