The Tokyo 2020 Emblems Selection Committee whittled down the short-list following an international design competition which was launched last year. The committee said that it carried out strict originality checks.

The 4 possible designs were selected from a total of 14000, 599 submissions. The committee will take public opinion into account, before it votes on the games’ logo on April the 25th.
