Antonio Conte will step down as Italy coach after this year's Euro 2016 in France.

Italian football federation president says Conte is keen to become a club manager because misses the day-to-day life of club football. That leaves Conte clear to become the next manager of English Premier League club Chelsea, a job with which he has been strongly linked.

The 46-year-old took control of the Azzurri in 2014 after Cesare Prandelli resigned following a first-round exit at the 2014 World Cup and secured their qualification for the European Championship in France.

Conte has won three Serie A titles with Juventus. Reports say the former Juventus midfielder who returned to the Bianconeri as manager in 2011, has held talks with Chelsea to take charge of the London side.
