The international ski federation has recognized Dizin as a location which meets the international standards for hosting winter sports events. Its highest elevation above sea level is 36-hundred meters.

Dizin was built in 19-69 and it is equipped with cable car lines, ski lifts, surface lifts, and T-bar lifts. Also there are hotels and restaurants cater to the needs of both athletes and holidaymakers.

Lifting the sanctions has helped authorities refurbish old amenities and boost safety features. Ski season begins in November and lasts through May.

In summer, when there’s no snow, the place is not closed and people can still come for grass skiing. Using all of the facilities for a day will cost only 20 dollars.
