Tate Britain gallery presents artworks felt through all senses

Enjoying art does not just take place through the eyes. You can hear, touch, smell and even taste them! This is the main idea of a new London exhibition.

The London-based creative studio has used some kind of technology to help people discover, explore and enjoy art in a new and innovative way. The exhibition showcases abstract paintings which can be appreciated through the senses. Visitors can hear sounds of heeled footsteps, open windows and a buzzing television set, echoing the painting's subject matter. Some artworks are also accompanied with edible treats to stimulate taste. The artists behind the prize-winning project say they don’t want to dictate too much of what their art is about. They seek to leave enough space for the viewers to make their own interpretation.
