Civil Society Organizations call for global intergovernmental tax body

Civil society organizations insist that pressure be put on wealthy countries to accept the establishment of an intergovernmental tax body that would clamp down on multinational tax dodgers . The organizations’ call is made as world leaders prepare to meet in Ethiopia to discuss financing for development strategies.
