1 The ISIL Takfiri terrorists have allegedly threatened to kill scores of US Defense Department personnel. The Pentagon says it's investigating an online threat to about 100 of its military personnel. They've been listed by a website linked to the terrorist group, alongside a call for them to be killed.
2 Russia has criticized Ukraine's reported deployment of heavy weapons in the east. The Foreign Ministry dismissed Kiev's claims that all heavy weapons have been withdrawn from the conflict zone as a bluff. The ministry also accused Ukraine of seriously violating the Minsk agreement.
3 Thousands of people in Britain have rallied against what they see as rising racism and fascism across Europe. The protests, organized by over a dozen anti-racism groups, were aimed at commemorating the U-N anti-racism day. Marches are also being held in capitals across Europe and around the world.
4 Anti-war rallies have been held in several US cities against the government's policies in the Middle East. In Washington D-C, protesters condemned America's notorious Guantanamo Bay prison, as well as CIA drone attacks targeting civilians in several Muslim countries. Also in Los Angeles, demonstrators slammed US involvement in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan.
5 The United States and its European allies, engaged in nuclear talks with Iran, have pledged unity to secure a successful deal with Tehran. In a joint statement, U-S Secretary of State John Kerry and his British, French and German counterparts said they are now at important moment in the negotiations.
6 Yemen's Ansarullah movement has called for a general mobilization against forces loyal to the country's fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi. Ansarullah fighters, also known as Houthis, have described their offensive against military institutions loyal to Hadi as a battle against extremists.
