Press TV has conducted an interview with Colin Cavell, an author and lecturer from Bluefield, to discuss the worsening political situation in Bahrain.

The prominent analyst criticizes the US and British governments for remaining silent on the ongoing human rights violations across Bahrain. Cavell maintains that Washington and its allies have adopted a hypocritical and contradictory stance on the issue of human rights abuses in the Persian Gulf state.

The analyst also comments on the nearly four-year crisis in Syria, adding that the US, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been supporting the ISIL terrorists currently fighting against the government of democratically-elected Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
