EU foreign policy chief, foreign ministers praise success of JCPOA
European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini along with EU foreign ministers has praised the effectiveness of the Iran nuclear deal, after talks in Brussels with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
"The deal is working, it is delivering on its main goal which means keeping the Iranian nuclear program in check and a very close surveillance," said Mogherini.
British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson agreed, adding that those who criticize the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) should come up with a better alternative instead of simply opposing the program.
