Controversial EU-Canada trade deal to be signed on October 27

EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom confirms that a controversial trade deal between the European Union and Canada will be signed on October 27. Speaking after she attended a meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers, the Commissioner also said it is highly unlikely that trade talks between the EU and the US will be concluded before Barack Obama leaves office in January.
