Jennifer Chang joined Press TV in 2013, covering North and South Korea as an on-air general assignment reporter. Since then, she has reported on all the biggest news having to do with the Korean Peninsula, including the winning for the first time of the Fields Medal - the equivalent of the Nobel Prize in mathematics - by a woman and an Iranian, Maryam Mirzakhani. She has also reported on the three historic summits held by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump, the three inter-Korean summits held by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in, the impeachment and removal from office of former South Korean President Park Geun-hye, South Korea's COVID-19 pandemic, etc. Prior to joining Press TV, she served as Seoul Correspondent for CBS Radio News of the US. She began her broadcasting career working for NBC - the US television network - as a Production Assistant during the 1988 Seoul Olympics. A graduate of Wellesley College, she is proficient in English and Korean.
