Ramin Mazaheri is a Paris-based journalist, columnist, author and TV producer. He started working for Press TV in 2010 as a correspondent and became the Paris Bureau Chief in 2011. Mazaheri covered more demonstrations by the violently-repressed Yellow Vests protests than any other journalists. He was at Tahrir Square when Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak capitulated, covered the death of Cuban leader Fidel Castro and reported from countless protests during the EU’s Age of Austerity which were also met with French state violence. Mazaheri’s editorials often appear in the View Point section of Press TV.

Mazaheri studied print journalism and history at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is fluent in multiple languages. He has been a daily newspaper reporter in the US, worked in French radio and has reported from Iran, Cuba, Egypt, Tunisia, South Korea and elsewhere. Mazaheri is the author of Socialism's Ignored Success: Iranian Islamic Socialism as well as I’ll Ruin Everything You Are: Ending Western Propaganda on Red China, which is also available in simplified and traditional Chinese.
