Germans are warned by officials to prepare themselves for emergencies in case of a possible nuclear disaster.

The plant has repeatedly come under fire for weeks, raising concerns of a potential Chernobyl-style nuclear incident.

“Russia is striving to achieve its goals in the special military operation, and these goals can be achieved in different ways,” the Kremlin's spokesman said.

“In the morning of November 20, the station was shelled twice by Ukrainian force,” said the Russian Defense Ministry’s spokesman.
