Israel's genocidal war on Gaza and its atrocities in the occupied West Bank have stripped Palestinian students of their fundamental right to education.

Over 9,000 students have been killed and more than 15,000 wounded in the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The regime has also killed 100 pupils in the occupied West Bank ever since.

Israeli universities in the United States and Europe have deprived Palestinian students of their rights to freedom and are regarded as a "central pillar" of the occupying regime’s oppression against Palestinians, says a Jewish scholar.

The Israeli parliament introduced two bills that would bring Palestinian schools and staff in the 1948-occupied territories under stricter control.

Israeli forces have arrested 45 Birzeit University students after they visited the family of prisoner Muntaser al-Shalabi.
