At least 19 Palestinian worshippers have been injured after Israeli settlers stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied al-Quds amid a heavy military deployment of Israeli occupation forces.

A senior Hamas official says Palestinian resistance fighters are fully prepared to repeat Operation al-Quds Sword to protect the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

The Hamas Political Bureau chief says the resistance movement is merely fighting on Palestinian land against Israel.

The Israeli regime has arrested at least 1,900 Palestinians, including a large number of minors,  across the occupied al-Quds since the beginning of the year.

The Hamas leader says the recent anti-Israel military operation proved that al-Quds is the pivot of struggle against the Zionist enemy.
